Acids must be disposed of correctly as they are a hazardous item.

You can dispose of acids at a Detox Your Home event.

Scrunch foil into a ball and place in your recycling bin (yellow lid). For best results, ensure ball is a minimum size of a golf ball.

 

Asbestos cannot be put in any household bins.

Do not cut or break asbestos. For information on the correct and safest way to dispose of asbestos, visit Asbestos.vic.gov.au.

 

Ash must be cold before placing into your landfill bin (red lid).

Never put hot ash in any kerbside bin. Please ensure ash is allowed to cool before placing in your landfill bin.
