Folders usually have a combination of plastic and cardboard. Place these in your landfill bin (red lid).
If in good condition, consider donating at your local Op Shop
Any folder that is made only of cardboard or paper can be disposed of in the recycling bin (yellow lid). An example of this would be a plain paper manilla folder.
