Approval in principle for works on Council properties

To apply for capital works on any council properties, you must:

  • submit all building requests at least 30 days before you plan to start work
  • consult us before applying for any grants for capital improvements, fittings or fixtures
  • provide detailed specifications for works with the quotes. Include examples of images where possible
  • ensure the nominated contractors are on Council’s Rapid Global account
  • Should you wish to nominate your own contractor, please liaise with your User Coordinator. The contractor must be certified before any work commences. A Notice of Assessment form can be obtained to have the contractor registered on Council’s Rapid Global account.
