Aspendale Beach

Aspendale beach is a beautiful three kilometre stretch of wide, flat sand, with low dunes and grass, dotted with historic beach huts. The beach is only 200m from Aspendale train station, with an accessible ticketed car park, boardwalk, shower, and toilet, benches and picnic tables. The beach is patrolled by the Aspendale Life Saving Club, with an off-leash dog area.

Carrum Beach

Carrum beach stretches 2km from Patterson River south to neighbouring Seaford. There is a boardwalk, the large playground, with shelters, tables, toilets, drinking fountain, deck chairs, BBQ area and new open space area. There is an off-leash dog area, car park and Surf Life Saving Club.

George Woods Reserve

George Woods Reserve is a large, grassed space adjacent to Mordialloc Creek with walking trails, a playground, off leash dog area, and boat ramp with car park.
The reserve is a fantastic place for a walk, with walking trails connecting through to the Mordialloc Pier and beach, alongside the Mordialloc Creek Trail, or across the bridge to the Edithvale Wetlands Trail.

Heatherton Park

Heatherton Park is a large, open grassed space beside Spring Valley Golf Course with walking trails and an expansive troll themed playground. As well as providing a home to a hoard of trolls, the playground has an expansive array of play activities, with many slides, swings, flying fox, monkey bars, mirrors, poles and ladders. There are shelters, tables, half court and seating.
