Dolamore Reserve takes its name from a former Mayor of Mordialloc who was instrumental in transforming a former swamp and tip into a world-class athletics track. The area had been a rough paddock used as a sports ground from the 1940s until the venue received the track from the MCG used for the 1956 Olympics and became an athletics venue.

Sir William Fry Reserve

Situated on the corner of Nepean Highway and Bay Road in Highett, Sir William Fry Reserve is a large community space offering rolling hills, a playground, skate park, a pond and lake, walking trails and picnic areas. The reserve has a wide variety of play equipment for all ages spread out including giant slides, lots of seating and shelters, rebound wall and a skate park.

Amaroo Drive Reserve

The Amaroo Drive Reserve is a long green strip running though Chelsea Heights with a large section of off-lead dog area, a refurbished playground and a long accessible walking trail. The new playground has play equipment for children of all ages, including junior and senior combination units and a rubberised surface, new park furniture including a drinking fountain, picnic table and park seats.

Ben Kavanagh Reserve

An essential sporting precinct and recreation area, home to many local sporting teams, and facilities for community use. Recent improvements to the reserve includes a new accessible, all gender-friendly two storey sports pavilion, upgraded car park, improved walking paths, exercise stations forming an outdoor gym, new lighting, landscaping, drainage and playground improvements.

Bicentennial Park

Bicentennial Park is a regional park created from reclaimed land, which had been operating as a local tip since 1959.

Since its redevelopment, which began with the first playground built on the site in 1981, the park has become a much-loved and widely used community asset.

Features include a youth area with skatepark, multi-sport court and stage, and a huge adventure playground.

Bonbeach Reserve

The Bonbeach Reserve has been part of the sporting history of the area for more than 50 years. The reserve has five football/cricket ovals, with cricket nets, two netball courts and club rooms, with club rooms above.

Roy Dore Reserve

Roy Dore Reserve has two big sport ovals, tennis courts, fenced dog park, as well as an outdoor gym. The Roy Dore Reserve is undergoing upgrading as part of a redevelopment funded by the Council, the State Government, and AFL Victoria due for completion in 2023.

Dales Park

Dales Park is a significant community asset providing both active sporting and passive recreational elements, which was initially bequeathed to the former City of Moorabbin as a site for women’s sporting participation.

The 3.1ha Reserve comprises nine netball courts, a sporting pavilion, a playground, a dog off leash area and a sizeable open grassy area for informal use.

Dingley Reserve

As part of Council's commitment to providing improved sporting facilities at Dingley Reserve, we are currently planning for the redevelopment of the sports pavilion to meet growing demand for cricket and AFL facilities and provide more sporting and community facilities for the Dingley community. This $6.3M project is jointly funded by Council ($1.7M), the State Government ($4.5M) and sporting club

Doug Denyer Reserve

The Doug Denyer Reserve is a diverse community space, home to the Mordialloc Tennis Club, and Mordialloc Cricket Club, with a large fenced dog park, playground and half court basketball.

The tennis club has six floodlit en-tout-cas tennis courts and offers a variety of competitions and coaching for all ages and levels.

There are two grass ovals with synthetic wickets, and three cricket nets.

Edithvale Reserve

The Edithvale Reserve is a multi purpose sports facility and recreation reserve, home to soccer, baseball, cycling and little athletics clubs.

Sporting facilities include a soccer pitch, baseball diamond, velodrome, and grass athletics track, with a recently built pavilion, and expanded playground area.

Recent improvements have been part of a long term development plan for the area.

GR Bricker Reserve

GR Bricker Reserve is a significant sporting and recreation space. As well as the sporting pavilion and sportsgrounds, the reserve also has two playgrounds, landscaped gardens, outdoor exercise equipment and an off-leash dog area.

George Woods Reserve

George Woods Reserve is a large, grassed space adjacent to Mordialloc Creek with walking trails, a playground, off leash dog area, and boat ramp with car park.

The reserve is a fantastic place for a walk, with walking trails connecting through to the Mordialloc Pier and beach, alongside the Mordialloc Creek Trail, or across the bridge to the Edithvale Wetlands Trail.

Gerry Green Reserve

The Gerry Green Reserve officially took its name in 1972 after the Mayor of Mordialloc at the time, who was highly involved in local sporting clubs and community groups.

Prior to this, the area was called the Parkdale Recreation Reserve, which had its beginnings when members of the local football side helped clear scrub land to create an oval in the early 1920s.

Highett Reserve

The Highett Reserve is a large sporting venue and recreation space with three ovals, cricket nets, half court basketball, a dedicated dog off leash area, and the expansive Turner Street Playground in among historic native and exotic trees.

The ovals are home to the Highett Cricket Club, who first formed in 1888, and the Highett Football Club, with a history dating back to 1929.

Keeley Park

Keeley park is being upgraded as part of Kingston's open space program Improvements will include new sports ground lighting for the soccer field, three new sealed car parks next to the football/cricket oval, the soccer pavilion and the scout hall/men’s shed
new pedestrian paths, public lighting and park fencing
extensive plantings and landscape works and a refurbishment of the playground.

Keith Styles Reserve

The Keith Styles reserve and memorial garden is a historic space honouring Mentone resident's war losses.

A striking granite memorial gate built in 1923 resembling a temple entrance has honour roles ‘the glorious men of Mentone who gave their lives for our freedom” during World War 1.

You will also find a drinking fountain from 1910, the earliest existing monument in Mentone.

Mavis Hutter Reserve

Mavis Hutter Reserve is a large, grassed open space fringed with trees comprising a walking loop with exercise stations, a big off leash dog area and a playground.

Kingston Heath Reserve

Kingston Heath Reserve is one of the most popular parks in the Municipality with a range of recreation activities and open space to enjoy. It has a range of amenities including several sports fields, home to local hockey, baseball and soccer clubs, a dogs off-lead area, long walking trails, picnic space, playground and the Kingston Botanic Gardens - which features 5,000 native and indigenous plant

Mentone Racecourse Reserve

The Mentone Racecourse Reserve is named from, and sits on the spot of the former horse racing course which operated from 1888 to 1948.

Mentone Racecourse was one of the pre-eminent local tracks in Melbourne, and continued as a training course from 1948 until 1972 when the area was sold as a housing estate.
