Albany Crescent Reserve Playground The Albany Crescent Reserve is a small open space with a train-themed playground. There are two main structures in the playground climbing, slides, monkey rings, telescope and tunnel, with rail-related activities including a Red Rattler train, a train station, flying fox, see saws, swings and carousel.
Amaroo Drive Reserve Playground The Amaroo Drive Reserve is a long green strip running though Chelsea Heights with a large section of off-lead dog area, a refurbished playground and a long accessible walking trail. Bicentennial Park Playground Bicentennial Park is a regional park created from reclaimed land, which had been operating as a local tip since 1959. Bonbeach Reserve Playground The Bonbeach Reserve has been part of the sporting history of the area for more than 50 years. The reserve has five football/cricket ovals, with cricket nets, two netball courts and club rooms, with club rooms above. Chelsea Beach and Victory Park Chelsea beach is located a short 250m walk from Chelsea train station, with accessible ticketed parking on Camp Street. The beach is a long sandy stretch, with dunes and beach huts dotted along the shore. The Victory Park playground is a popular spot for visitors with play equipment, BBQs, picnic tables, and toilets, with beach showers and off-leash dog areas.

Friendship Square Reserve Playground The Friendship Square Reserve is a long narrow park running through the square from which it takes its name. The fenced park features a playground with a large wooden structure with rope climb, spinning wheel, shop front and slide, a bird nest swing, spinner, swings and a sand pit. There are seats, picnic table and drinking fountain and street library, with limited on street parking.
G.R. Bricker Reserve West Playground As part of Council's commitment to improving its open spaces and meet the growing need for improved sport and recreation spaces in the area, Council worked with the community to develop a master plan for GR Bricker Reserve. The master plan will guide future improvements at the reserve to meet the growing need for improved sporting and recreational spaces in the area.
Gartside Reserve Playground The Gartside Reserve is named after an influential vegetable canning family who helped form the Dingley state school, tennis club and this park. The reserve has a large grassed area, with a playground comprising a large slide, and climbing structure with slides and ladders, with springers, swings and see-saws. George Woods Reserve Playground George Woods Reserve is a large, grassed space adjacent to Mordialloc Creek with walking trails, a playground, off leash dog area, and boat ramp with car park. The reserve is a fantastic place for a walk, with walking trails connecting through to the Mordialloc Pier and beach, alongside the Mordialloc Creek Trail, or across the bridge to the Edithvale Wetlands Trail.
Gerry Green Reserve Playground The Gerry Green Reserve Playground is a large natural landscaped space with numerous wooden structures offering activities to kids of all ages, with wave slides, climbing walls, cubby house, sliding pole, swings, see-saw and springers and a big sandpit with diggers. Mentone Foreshore Playground Located next to the Mentone Life Saving Club, the playground's wooden play structure is inspired by driftwood shacks for great views across Port Phillip Bay.
Mentone Racecourse Reserve Playground The reserve honours its past with the playground decorated with images of racehorses, horse statues and ride on springers, as well as a wooden maze, flying fox, slides, swings and a sandpit. Regents Park Playground Regents Park is home to a variety of sport and recreational uses and houses the Jack Cuthbertson memorial garden honouring the renowned artist, educator, sustainability activist and former local mayor. The playground sits in a tree-filled space with two climbing structures with slides, tunnels, abacus, pole, stepping stones, and swings.
Rowan Road Reserve Playground Rowan Woodland Flora and Fauna Reserve is a conservation area tucked in among a busy sports precinct with netball, tennis and baseball facilities. The playground has a number of wooden structures with play activities including swings, a flying fox, monkey bars, stepping stones, sliding pole, chin up bars and springers.
Roy Dore Reserve Playground Little ones can revisit the time of swashbuckling high seas adventures in the pirate themed playground featuring a large ship with gangplanks, walkways, climbing wall, rigging, canons, cubby, tic-tac-toe, slides, a pirates treasure maze, sandpit, swings, trolls and toadstools with shade sails, tables & BBQ.
Royal Palms Reserve Playground The Royal Palms Playground is a tree-lined, grassy open space featuring a large climbing web frame, swings, a slide, and two springers, with seating available.
Scotch Parade Reserve Playground Narrow grassed area with playground comprising swings, a two-person, and a four-person see saw, and seating.
Scott Avenue Reserve Playground The Scott Avenue Reserve is a large-grassed open space, with play equipment and half court basketball. The playground comprises a small structure with shop front and slide, connecting to monkey bars, stepping stones and horizontal bars. There are separate swings and springers, with concrete half court basketball and seating.
Serpentine Court Reserve Playground The Serpentine Court Reserve is a lakeside grassed area with play equipment, picnic tables, garden beds, shady trees and seating. The fenced playground area contains a connected climbing structure with two slides, a bridge, rope ladder, spinning wheel, clock, shop front, disc ladder and slide pole. There are separate swings, bench seats and waterfront walking trails.
Sheldon Place Reserve Playground Sheldon Place Reserve is a tree-lined, open grassed space in between two local cul-de-sacs with play equipment and seating. The playground has a structure accessed by chain bridge and ladder with slide, fire pole and spiral ladder, with separate swings and under-tree seating.
Sherbrooke Avenue Reserve Playground The Sherbrooke Avenue Reserve playground is within a large grassed area, comprising a new playspace which focuses on younger ages groups and includes a basket swing, junior and senior swings, talking tubes, a sand pit with sand play equipment and a social play unit for climbing, balancing and traversing that can accommodate up to 38 kids at once, with new improved park furniture and facilities.
Silver Street Reserve Playground Small, tree-filled play space next to the Cheltenham East Primary School. There is a playground with central climbing structure with a tunnel, abacus, noughts and crosses, shop front and two slides, with separate springer, swings and seating.
Sir William Fry Reserve Playground Sir William Fry Reserve is a large community space offering rolling hills, a playground, skate park, a pond and lake, walking trails and picnic areas. The reserve has a wide variety of play equipment for all ages spread out around the landscaped grounds.
Southern Road Reserve Playground The Southern Road Reserve has upgraded its sporting facilities, for all gender use, and provided a new play space with equipment and activities for all ages. The playground features a number of wooden structures with slides, cubby, climbing walls and bridges, sliding poles and tunnels, a carousel, swings, see-saw, and obstacle course, with a shelter, tables, BBQ area.
St Georges Crescent Reserve Playground The St Georges Crescent Reserve is a small heart shaped park comprising large open grassy areas bordered by trees with a central walking path, seating and small play area. The playground has a modern climbing structure, with a standing spinner and swings on a soft surface.
Stanley Avenue Reserve Playground The Stanley Avenue Reserve is a small landscaped space next to the Cheltenham library with wide accessible paths, open grass areas, and a variety of play equipment. Kids can enjoy a train ride in the playground, meet a caterpillar and ladybird, or use a variety of swings, slides, and climbing equipment in a fenced space. Picnic tables, tap, shelter and seating available, limited street parking.
Talab Reserve Playground Neighbourhood park with open grassy spaces with accessible paths and and play equipment. The playground comprises a structure with two slides, climbing web and pole, swings, springers, see-saw and birds nest swinger, with seating, picnic tables, drinking fountain and shelter.
The Grange Reserve Playground The Grange Reserve commemorates a momentous day in local, and universe, history. The UFO themed park was designed in honour of an event that took place on the morning of April 6, 1966 when at least 90 students and teachers witnessed three 'flying saucers' hovering over their school oval. One of the craft landed at the current location of the park.
The Heath Estate Common Playground The Heath Estate Common is a wide open relaxing space with palm tree lined pathways, trees that provide autumnal colour, and a wisteria topped shelter. The refurbished playground provides equipment and activities including triple swing frame, nature play, climbing structure, rock wall, carousel, tube slide, and climbing net, with new garden beds, trees, paths, seating and picnic tables.
Third Avenue Reserve Playground The Third Avenue Reserve is a small, fenced landscaped park with grassy area, garden beds, drinking fountain, shelter, and a variety of play equipment. The playground had a large wooden combination structure, with shop front, climbing wall, and slide, with separate climbing bars and four-person see-saw springer.
Victory Park Reserve Playground Victory Park is a seaside themed playground featuring a lighthouse and sand castles next to the beach at Chelsea. Climb up to the lighthouse on its spiral staircase for great views across the Bay, or enjoy the sand castle shaped climbing structures, sand pit diggers, swings and a boat. There are a number of shelters, ideal for children’s parties, with tables, seating, drinking fountains, BBQs.
Walter Galt Reserve Playground Walter Galt Reserve is a former landfill site turned into a sporting and recreation precinct.Ongoing improvements to the park, as part of the Walter Gait Master Plan, have seen the completion of new walking and jogging paths with exercise stations, new all ages friendly playground with new play equipment, off leash dog park, and the provision of new shelters, BBQ, picnic tables and seating.
Warraweena Road Reserve Playground Warraweena Road Reserve is an open grassed space with half court basketball, and a new accessible, all ages playground. The refurbishment included the construction of new play equipment for all ages, including a basket swing, junior and senior swing, sand pit, spring rocker, spinner, combination unit with slides, climbing net, suspension bridge and rock wall, with new landscaping and paths.
White Street Reserve Playground The White Street Reserve is a quaint corner park where you can meet some quirky animal sculptures, relax in the shade of the trees, enjoy the grassy area or play on the variety of equipment. The fenced Barkly Street Playground features a large wooden structure with climbing ladders, walkway, bridge, pole and slides, with swings, hanging bar, drinking fountain, tables and seating.
William J Bardoel Reserve Playground The William J Bardoel Reserve offers relaxing walking trails around a pond and landscaped gardens, grassed open space, play equipment and half court basketball. The playground has a climbing structure with noughts and crosses, a slide and a sliding pole, with separate swings and two horse springers. There are picnic tables, seats and a drinking fountain, with limited street parking available.
Williams Close Reserve Playground The Williams Close Reserve is a gum tree-lined neighbourhood park with a small playground comprising a climbing frame with monkey bars and a slide, two swings and two springers.
Winners Circle Reserve Playground Winners Circle Playground is a grassy open space with paths connecting to the Mordialloc Creek trail, shady trees and play equipment. The playground has a connected structures with ladders up to a slide, stepping stones, chain bridge, monkey wrench bars and horizontal bars, with separate swings, a springer and seating.
