The Gartside Reserve is named after the influential vegetable canning Gartside family who provided a lot of employment for the local area, and helped form the Dingley state school, tennis club and created this park.
The reserve has a large grassed area, with a playground comprising a large slide, and climbing structure with slides and ladders, with springers, swings and see-saws.
There is seating, half court basketball and limited street parking.
