Bald Hill Park

Bald Hill Park is a sprawling open space with wide open grassy areas and walking and bike trails winding through the trees, an off-leash dog area, as well a disc golf course and expansive playground. There are shelters, picnic tables and BBQ area, with toilets and drinking fountain.

Bradshaw Bushland Reserve

Bradshaw Bushland Reserve is located at the intersection of White Street and Nepean Highway in Mordialloc and contains approximately 1.7 hectares of rare vegetation once typical of very large areas of the Melbourne sand belt. It has a variety of native grass species, and is a rare remnant damp sands woodland and provides a habitat for native animals including skinks, possums and many bird species.

Caruana Woodland Reserve

The Caruana Woodland Reserve is a 0.5 hectare Woodland, located on the corner of Wheatland Crescent and Caruana Drive, which with the adjacent Dingley Road Reserve provides a significant area of remnant vegetation, woodland, heathland and swamp scrub habitats.
The reserve features pure strands of River Red Gums, indigenous grasses, lizards, frogs, birds and possums.

Epsom Conservation Reserve

Epsom Conservation Reserve is a significant grassland located within the Epsom Estate between Jenkins Street and Jack Holt Way in Mordialloc. Formally the Epsom Racecourse (the site was actually the centre of the racetrack), the reserve covers approximately 3.6 hectares of native grassland and significantly adds to the regions biodiversity with an adjacent man-made wetland.

Grange Heathland Reserve

The Grange Heathland is a 6.6 hectare reserve which is highly valued as a conservation area due to the relative intactness and diversity of heath vegetation spread across four different Ecological Vegetation Classes. The reserve is home to more than 230 species of plants, including a number of regionally rare species, 68 animal species, with almost 50 different birds spotted in the reserve.

Groves Reserve

Groves Reserve is a remnant pocked of Banksia Woodland wedged in between the highway and train line offering walking and cycling trails connecting the Aspendale foreshore with Mordialloc Creek Reserve. The reserve features a sandy path through natural scrub and woodland with a bench and memorial plaque to local volunteer Alan Peter Jones.

Kingston Heath Reserve

Kingston Heath Reserve is one of the most popular parks in the Municipality with a range of recreation activities and open space to enjoy. It has a range of amenities including several sports fields, home to local hockey, baseball and soccer clubs, a dogs off-lead area, long walking trails, picnic space, playground and the Kingston Botanic Gardens - which features 5,000 native and indigenous plant

Mordialloc Creek Reserve

The Mordialloc Creek Reserve is approximately 4ha in total area. The creek supports five ecological vegetation classes including some of the best examples of remnant scrub, reed and wetland species. The area provides a habitat for many bird species, possums, snakes, frogs, skinks and small mammals.

Namatjira Park

Namatjira Park is a 12.1 hectare site, officially opened in April 1980, that provides a diversity of opportunities including social and family recreation, sport, play and environmental experiences.

The reserve has a single oval, single tennis court, sporting pavilion, bowls club and bistro, skate park, playground, tennis wall, basketball half court, and dog off-leash park.

Powernet Easement

The Powernet Easement provides a grassed walking path helping connect trails from Namitjira Park, Springs and Clayton roads.

Rowan Road Reserve

Rowan Woodland Flora and Fauna Reserve is a significant 3.9 hectare conservation area tucked in among a busy sports precinct with netball, tennis and baseball facilities.
The reserve is a rare example of remnant indigenous bushland and was made a conservation area due to the quality and diversity of its vegetation.

Wells Road trail

The Wells Road trail provides a grassed and tree-lined walking path helping connect Chelsea's industrial and shopping district with the Edithvale-Seaford Wetlands Environment Area.

Woolepe Bushland Reserve

Formally known as Tarella Road Reserve, Woolepe Bushland Reserve is one of Kingston's newest bushland reserves, located within a residential pocket of Chelsea. This small pocket of indigenous vegetation is home to 11 locally significant species – two of which are endangered in Kingston.

Yammerbook Nature Reserve

Yammerbook Nature Reserve is the last remnant of the Carrum Carrum Swamp, which before European settlement, used to cover 10,000 hectares stretching from Port Phillip Bay to Westernport. The land was traditional home to the Bunurong people, and takes its name from their last surviving tribe member. The reserve forms part of a trail connecting the Edithvale Wetlands, and Mordialloc Creek.

Zephyr Place Reserve

The Zephyr Place Reserve is a small suburban street-side pocket of remnant coastal banksia and grassland part way between the beach at Patterson River Country Club.
