Council wards

The City of Kingston is divided into 11 wards, with each of the wards represented by a single Councillor. The 11 elected Councillors make up Kingston City Council, and it is this group that represents the interests of residents and ratepayers.

Local Government elections have just been held and counting by the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) is now underway. Visit the VEC website for more information or queries about the Kingston City Council election.

Your new Councillors are expected to be announced by the VEC on 8 November, with the Mayor to be elected by Councillors on 13 November.

Our Councillors work together with the community and CEO Peter Bean to set our city’s strategic direction.
