Support continues for our community in 2025
Published on 21 January 2025
Kingston’s support for our community continues in 2025, with our Charitable Fund and Bi-annual Grants programs now open for applications.
These programs continue to enrich our city across health, welfare, sport, recreation, arts, culture, education, and the environment.
Last year, the Kingston Charitable Fund awarded over $72,000 to 11 charities, supporting their activities within our community.
In 2024/25, just over $220,000 of funding has been allocated through the Community Bi-annual Grants program to support 40 not-for-profit organisations and individuals in Kingston.
Kingston Mayor Georgina Oxley said we have an incredible community here in Kingston and we are super proud to be in a position to support the many local groups and individuals making this such a special place to live.
“These programs were established to enable partnerships between Council and our community to address needs, support initiatives that strengthen community participation, development and inclusion, and foster support,” Cr Oxley said.
“This is all about building stronger, more connected neighbourhoods by investing in those working so hard to meet community need, especially in these challenging times, so I strongly encourage you to apply.”
