Pothole repairs
While Council manages most roads in Kingston, some roads are managed by the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP). We can only address potholes on roads we manage.
If you're unsure who manages a road, you can search the road name on DTP's interactive map to find out.
DTP-managed road: To report a pothole or road maintenance issue on a DTP-managed road, you can fill out an online form on the VicRoads website or, if it's an urgent road hazard, you can call their 24/7 hotline on 13 11 70.
Council-managed road: To let us know about a pothole or road maintenance issue on a Council-managed road, you can report your concern online or contact us on 1300 653 356.
Report a pothole
Information that will assist us in investigating your report includes:
- the address, closest address or nearest landmark of the pothole
- the size of the pothole
- a photo of the issue (you will be able to upload it if reporting online)
- your contact details so we can follow up if needed.
Your feedback helps us continue to maintain a safe road network for all.
