Moorabbin Rugby Union Football Club

We acknowledge our heritage and the proud history of our Club, established in 1965 by a community connected by a common purpose to play the great game and achieve great things. Thanks to this firm groundwork, The Moorabbin Rugby Club has since grown and developed into the Club it is today.

LEGACY
Our legacy includes 15 First Grade Premierships and the Club has produced representatives playing in Super Rugby, the Rugby World Cup and in Professional Rugby Clubs all round the world. We draw strength and inspiration from this proud history, to continue to work hard so that we build on this legacy and continue to inspire future generations. Without a doubt our ethos remains unchanged - we are our people, a diverse group of individuals, brought together to enjoy and celebrate the opportunity to play this great game.

FACILITIES
The Club has the good fortune of dedicated rugby facilities with excellent playing fields, modern clubrooms and gym facilities - the only year round rugby facility in Kingston City and the surrounding Bayside, Frankston and Casey areas. This allows our Club the opportunity for year round rugby and training activities which include Touch Rugby and Sevens Rugby in the off season.

COMMUNITY
One of the special things about our club is the sense of belonging to a close-knit community. Our people is what makes our club special. We are a diverse and multi-cultural community, united with a common purpose to do good for each other, to work hard, play hard and enjoy this amazing rugby journey. The commitment to be a positive source of energy and to provide the development opportunities to grow the game, is upheld across the Club leadership team from our coaches, key players, committee, and the management team.

Moorabbin provides the perfect opportunity for players to maximize their potential and transition from community sport to the elite game, while enjoying an exciting brand of rugby within a fantastic community. If you're new to Melbourne, the Club has an extensive network of players, coaches, an active volunteer base, and passionate supporters that will help you get on your feet if you are new to Victoria or Australia.
