Bayside Community Care is dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable members of our community. Our mission is to empower individuals, foster meaningful connections and affirm their value as integral members of society. We achieve this by providing compassionate care and practical relief to those facing challenging circumstances.
We provide two programs: Matt's Place Community Meals Program and Food Relief.
Matt's Place Community Meals Program provides nutritious meals and social connections for people experiencing food insecurity, homelessness and social isolation. Each week, Matt's Place serves a two-course meal across two locations in Cheltenham and Chelsea, ensuring individuals and families facing hardship have reliable access to food and companionship. All are welcome to attend Matt's Place.
The Food Relief program provides non-perishable pantry staples to those facing economic hardship. Hampers are available on a fortnightly basis. Recipients must live in the city of Kingston and be able to present a Healthcare Card is necessary.
