Established in 1996, Planet Ark's National Tree Day has grown into Australia's largest community tree planting and nature care event. The program is a call to action for all Australians to get their hands dirty and give back to their community.

Each year, around 300,000 people volunteer their time to engage in environmental activities that educate Australians about the world around them. While every day can be Tree Day, we dedicate the celebration of National Tree Day to the last Sunday in July.

There are many ways to get involved in greening your community and making a difference in your local environment.

Join us as we plant indigenous species to help stabilise the fragile dune system and increase the habitat for our local fauna in Bonbeach.

Meet on the north side of Patterson River on the beach. Please access the planting area via the pedestrian beach access off Nepean Hwy and follow the path down to the beach. Parking is available at The Beauty Spot Carpark on the south side of Patterson River.

Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and sun protection. Bring along your gloves, plenty of water and a snack.

Tools and equipment for planting, watering cans and buckets will be provided.
