Cultural Diversity Week is an opportunity to celebrate the many cultures and diverse backgrounds that make Kingston a vibrant community. This year, Cultural Diversity Week will take place from Monday 17 to Sunday 23 March 2025, and we have several themed events at our libraries, hubs, arts and youth venues for you and your families to enjoy.
Celebrate our community’s rich diversity at Bilingual Story Time throughout Cultural Diversity Week. All families are welcome to come along and share in this wonderful celebration through language and song.
Growing Up Indian in Australia recounts the painful yet powerful migration experience. A collection of vibrant, moving and diverse stories. Daizy Mann will share her experience of growing up Indian in Australia.
Come along to a vibrant workshop where you will learn about the folk and classical origins of Bollywood dance, the symbolism of some steps and a short dance routine. Wear something comfortable. Refreshments after the workshop.
