Over the holiday period, we will be closed from Saturday 21 December and will reopen on Monday 13 January.

Sundowner Community Centre is a thriving multi-purpose community centre in Clarinda. It provides a wide range of services, activities, and meeting spaces for local community groups and people of all ages.

Melbourne Zhiyin Choir

An amateur Mandarin-speaking choir group that is brought together by a common goal of enriching their lives through high-quality singing.

Yoga

A low-cost, relaxing yoga class that is open to all ages and various fitness and flexibility levels.

Lift for Life classes

A gentle introduction to strength training, facilitated by a fully qualified fitness instructor.

Spaces for hire

Expressions of interest are currently open to book Council’s spaces for recurring hire.

Please download our Expression of Interest Venue Hire FAQ before completing the Community Spaces Expression of Interest form.

Please note: Sundowner Community Centre can only be booked by community groups.

Small hall with kitchen, tea/coffee facilities, AV projector and speaker system.

Max capacity: 80 people.

Multipurpose room

Medium room with tea/coffee facilities.

Max capacity: 15 people.

631: Southland to Waverley Gardens via Clayton and Monash University (Stop: Springs Rd/Bourke Rd, Clarinda)
