The Activity Centres Streetscape Suite will provide guidance on the use of a suite of design treatments and details throughout Activity Centres within the City of Kingston. The notes will be used by designers, developers, installers and contractors as a guide to design and install treatments.

The Activity Centres Streetscape Suite applies to the public domain in the major and neighbourhood Activity Centres and includes streets, lanes, squares, as well as building frontages and setbacks.

The strategy focuses on positioning Kingston to deliver on our advocacy priorities by:

The City of Kingston is committed to improving accessibility and fostering social inclusion for all individuals with disability.

Development of the new All Abilities Action Plan began in 2023. Employing a co-design methodology, a dedicated Co-design Team comprising community members with disability and carers worked with Council to create an inclusive plan for all.

The 2023-24 Annual Report(PDF, 20MB) was considered by Council on 21 October 2024.

The Annual Report describes Council’s operations, achievements and challenges over the past financial year in relation to the 2023-24 Budget.

The Annual Report also includes audited Financial Statements, Performance Statement and a copy of the Auditor's Reports for the year ending 30 June 2024.

The purpose of this policy is to provide a framework for the operation of different Planning Application Meetings including meetings and interactions between permit applicant’s, Council Officers and Councillors and Planning Consultation Meetings involving objectors. This policy includes details on when and where these meetings should occur, who should facilitate and be invited to attend, and how these meetings should be run.

Council understands the importance of this facility to the local community and is now focusing on planning a new aquatic facility in Kingston. The project will be a major investment for Kingston and will follow a thorough process to ensure an outcome that meets the current and future needs of our community.
